Positive Swab
Second swab was positive. Strangles is still there. 14 weeks on.

that is ridiculous. i thought it was supposed to sort well within that timescale?
what does your vet say?
Well, its does seem ages but shes actually only hsd it for three months. And she last showed symptoms on about 14th July so really only two months ago. They said it can take up to a year for a horse to cleat itself but its usually 4-5 months.
There are other options including sending her to hospital but I think I;d rather wait it out.
So bloody frustrating though.
going to be an even worse winter than usual then with her stuck in a field on her own .... oh dear.
